10.9.2. Instructions for chains

Schemes of big difficult systems are divided into schemes of separate parts. It is designated as 1(3), 2(3), etc.
The accumulator (1/1), the switch of ignition (3/1) and the central electric block of passenger salon (11B) always are in the top part of the scheme. Sockets of the central electric block (J1, J14, etc.) are given in the list of sockets, watch the section "sockets".

Some designations in drawings and their interpretation are given below (fig. 10.87(1), fig. 10.87(2)).
Safety lock. Safety locks are distributed between two central electric blocks. Designations of safety locks of a compartment of the engine always begin with 11A. Designations of safety locks of passenger salon begin with 11B. In an engine compartment more powerful safety locks are also established. On schemes they are allocated with fat lines.
Table. For some switches tables are provided (for example, for the ignition switch) in which it is shown what contacts electrically are connected with each other at various provisions of the switch.
Reference. The reference to a component which has not a direct bearing on this chain.
Branch point. It branches from a cable plait, you watch the section "Branch Points".
Module of management. All modules of management are shown in gray color. At the link to the module of management the block is also represented in gray color.
Socket. The socket with numbers of contacts (the component with designation 24/is always the socket).
Component. Each component has number of a component. At the end of the book there is an unbent leaf with the list of components.
Ground contact. Designation of contact 31/1 — 2 means that two ground contacts are connected in an engine compartment with each other. All components of a compartment of the engine are connected to this contact, watch the section "ground contacts". It is possible to confuse easily ground contacts 31/5 and 31/6. For some ground contacts various options are shown. General information is given in the section "ground contacts".
Types of engines: petrol engines — B4164S, B4184S and B4204S; the diesel engine with a turbo-supercharging — D4192T; the petrol engine with a turbo-supercharging — B4194T.
Designation of type. The first part of number of a component indicates its type (the electric motor, the switch, etc.).
