2.24.1. Rechargeable battery and its service
Conditions of driving of the car, your style of driving, the number of start-up, climatic conditions, etc. strongly influence service life and functioning of the rechargeable battery (joint stock bank). For ensuring satisfactory operation of the rechargeable battery it is necessary to consider the following recommendations:
— to check regularly (at least once in half a year or when servicing) electrolyte level in the battery.
— if necessary it is necessary to fill up electrolyte with water to the maximum level (the minimum level settles down 10 mm above lead plates);
— at recharge of the battery it is necessary to check liquid level after recharge and if necessary to add water;
— it is not necessary to use usual tap water at all, to use only the distilled water;
— after replenishment of joint stock bank it is necessary to be convinced by the distilled water that traffic jams of openings of electrolyte are densely tightened.
— it is strictly forbidden to replace traffic jams of openings for a doliv of electrolyte with drainage openings with the tight traffic jams suitable by the size.
