6.6.11. Check of a side beating of pulse wheels
The beating of pulse wheels can be caused by a side play of wheel naves because of wear of bearings. Therefore at suspicion at first it is necessary to check a side play of bearings of naves for a beating of a pulse wheel and if necessary to replace bearings. Then it is necessary to remove the wheel sensor (see subsection. "Replacement of elements of anti-blocking system of brakes"), to examine a pulse wheel, slowly rotating a half shaft, on existence of a radial and side beating. In the presence of a beating to a napressuyta a pulse wheel against the stop on a half shaft. Again examine a pulse wheel on existence of a beating. If the beating remains, replace a pulse wheel and (or) a half shaft.
For measurement of a radial beating establish the holder with the indicator and a measuring tip 100 mm long (fig. 6.25), establish a measuring tip on a pulse wheel. If the beating exceeds 0,15 mm for forward wheels and 0,13 mm for back, the pulse wheel needs replacement, and a half shaft — check.
