8.2.8. Replacement of the longitudinal lever
|
Fig. 8.13. Preparatory work for replacement of the plug of the longitudinal lever: 1 — a mudguard;
2 — a bolt; 3 — an arm
|
— remove a mudguard 1 (see fig. 8.13);
— remove draft of control of a convergence;
— remove a back wheel;
— install the parking brake in a starting position;
— remove a lock bracket;
|
Fig. 8.15. Removal of a cable of the parking brake from a board of a back brake: 1 — the brake lever;
2 — an internal cable; 3 — an arm of fastening of a cable
|
— extend a cable of the parking brake from an arm of 3 (fig. 8.15) on a support and disconnect an internal cable 2 from the lever 1;
— disconnect a cable of the parking brake from the lever of the parking brake (fig. 8.16);
— remove a bracket and disconnect a brake hose from an arm of 3 (fig. 8.15);
— remove a support together with an arm, suspend a support on a steel wire in order to avoid damage of a brake hose;
|
PREVENTION
It is impossible to press a brake pedal when the support is removed.

Fig. 8.17. Removal of details of a nave of a wheel from the longitudinal lever: 1 — the ABS sensor; 2 — the holder of a nave; 3 — a brake board; 4 — a nave with a brake disk; 5 — a nave nut; 6 — a cap
|
— remove a cap of 6 (fig. 8.17) of a nave from the longitudinal lever, turn off the central nut 5; remove a nave 4 assembled with a brake disk, having turned out four bolts, remove a board 3 brakes and the holder 2 from a nave; remove the sensor 1 ABS with a wire;
— put a support under the lower lever;

Fig. 8.18. Details of fastening of the longitudinal lever: 1 — a bolt of fastening of the longitudinal lever to a body; 2 — a bolt of fastening of the top draft; 3 — the longitudinal lever; 4 — bolts of fastening of draft of control of a convergence
|
— remove details of fastening of the lower lever and the top thirst for the longitudinal lever (fig. 8.18);
— turn out a bolt from the forward rubber plug and remove the longitudinal lever;
— if necessary replace the forward rubber plug of the longitudinal lever;
— install bolts in the longitudinal lever, in forward fastening and the lower lever, tighten fingers;
— mount draft of control of a convergence on the longitudinal lever, tighten bolts 4 fastenings of draft the moment of 35 N · m;
— put elements of the longitudinal lever (fig. 8.17), previously having cleared surfaces:
— the ABS sensor, a mudguard and the holder on a nave (tighten the moment 55 N · l), a wire and the ABS sensor, a nave assembled with a brake disk; put a new central nut and tighten its moment 175 N · m;
— establish a support with the holder, tighten fastening details the moment of 55 N · m;
— mount a brake hose in the holder and put the fixing bracket;
— mount a cable of the parking brake on the longitudinal lever;
— connect an internal cable to the lever, insert a cable cover in the holder and put the fixing bracket;
— check purity of surfaces of contact of a brake disk and nave, grease the central directing pin in a forward part of a nave with anticorrosive structure 1161038-3; put a wheel and slightly tighten bolts, then tighten them on the diagonal of 110 N · m;
|
PREVENTION
It is important to carry out an inhaling on diagonal, putting the specified moment. It will prevent formation of tension in a brake disk.
|
— put a nave cover;
— remove an ashtray, turn out three screws and remove the back console;
— be convinced that the uvula settles down approximately at right angle, if necessary check cables of the parking brake and a brake bracket;
— turn a lock-nut so that on both sides brake brackets settled down precisely opposite to lock pins;
— be convinced that when the parking brake is not involved, back wheels are turned freely;
— be convinced that the central cable of the parking brake is constantly tense;
— put the back console;
— remove a support and several times rock the car up-down;
— put an adjusting bolt of the lower lever in former position, tighten the moment 80 N · m;
— tighten a bolt of fastening of the lower lever and the top draft, and also the longitudinal lever to a body the moment of 90 N · m.
