8.2.9. Replacement of a spring of a back wheel and shock-absorber

Works on replacement need to be performed in such sequence:
1) disconnect the top part of the back shock-absorber:

— remove the side panel 1 (fig. 8.20), isolation and a sealing cap 2;
— turn off two nuts 3;

2) disconnect fastening of the stabilizer of cross stability (fig. 8.21) at the left and on the right;
3) completely remove the back shock-absorber:
— lift the car, you will hang out a wheel;
— remove a wheel;

— turn off a nut of 1 (fig. 8.22) of a bolt of fastening of the shock-absorber and a nut 2 bolts of fastening of the longitudinal lever;
— turn out a bolt of fastening of the shock-absorber and remove the shock-absorber.
4) disassemble the shock-absorber:
— squeeze a spring by means of clips 999 5409 (arrange clips precisely the friend opposite to the friend; they have to take as much as possible rounds);
— serially tighten clips until the spring departs from persistent cups;

       PREVENTION
Clips of a spring need to be tightened serially.

— turn off a nut of 1 shock-absorber;
— remove a ring 2, the top cup 3 springs, a rubber element 4 and a spring 5;
— check all details for existence of wear and damages;
5) replace a spring:
— carefully unload a spring and install the tool 999 5409 on a new spring. Arrange clips the friend opposite to the friend; they have to take as much as possible rounds;
— serially tighten clips;

6) collect the shock-absorber:
— extend a rod as it is possible further from the shock-absorber. Establish a spring and a rubber element;
— put the top cup of a spring and be convinced that it settled down in parallel (with the maximum deviation 3 °) to fastening of the shock-absorber;
— be convinced that the ends of a spring densely adjoin to cups;
— establish a ring and a new nut, tighten its moment 30 N · m (for the Nivomat shock-absorber — the moment of 25 N · l);

7) check the shock-absorber — remove clips from a spring and check existence of a rubber ring of 1 (fig. 8.24) on the top cup 2 springs;

       PREVENTION
The wrong installation of a rubber ring can lead to hit of dirt to the luggage compartment of a body.

8) mount the top part of the back shock-absorber:
— install the shock-absorber so that the end of the lower round was directed to a back part of the car;
— put the top nuts of fastening of the shock-absorber and tighten their moment 50 N · m (use new nuts);
— establish a sealing cap, mount the removed details;
— put a bolt of the longitudinal lever; wring out all suspension bracket down; put a shock-absorber bolt;
9) check purity of surfaces of contact of a brake disk and nave; grease the central directing pin in a forward part of a nave with anticorrosive structure 1161038-3; put a wheel and slightly tighten bolts, then tighten them on diagonal the moment of 110 N · m; put a nave cover;

       PREVENTION
It is important to carry out an inhaling on diagonal, putting the specified moment. It will prevent formation of tension in a brake disk.

10) fix the lower lever;
— remove a support and several times rock the car up-down;
— mount the stabilizer of cross stability, tighten the moment 25 N · m;

— tighten a bolt of fastening of the longitudinal lever the moment of 90 N · m, and a bolt of fastening of the shock-absorber the moment of 80 N · m (fig. 8.25)
