In the engine every time is the best of all to carry out check of level of oil when filling the car (especially important to check oil level during the period of a running in of the new car). The most reliable measurement can be received on the cold engine before its start-up.

Carry out check of level of oil in the engine as follows:

— put the car on a plain surface, to switch off the engine and to wait at least 3 minutes during which oil will merge in the case pallet;

— take out and wipe the masloizmeritelny probe with a pure rag;

— lower the masloizmeritelny probe and again to take out it;

— level of oil has to be in limits of the marked part of the probe (fig. 2.49, and and b) the difference between tags of "MAX" and "MIN" makes about 1,9 l for petrol engines or 2 l for diesel engines (1 liter, B4184SJ).

Do not add too much oil since it will lead to its overconsumption.

After a doliv of oil it is necessary to wrap a cover of a maslozalivny opening densely.

NOTE For ensuring correctness of measurements lower the oil probe down to an emphasis.

PREVENTION Do not spill oil on an exhaust pipe, it can lead to the fire.

The filling volume of engines — 5,4 l, including the filter, or 3,8 l, including the filter — for B4184SJ engines.
