Procedure for test and adjustments following:

— remove the case of the steering mechanism;

— tighten a nut the moment of 15 N · m; at the same time the steering mechanism has to be in the central family way;

— establish a mandrel 999 5053 on a shaft of the leading gear wheel (fig. 7.26);

— turn a gear segment from an emphasis against the stop several times by means of a dynamometer key 999 8081;

— turn a nut on 30 — 60 °.

— measure a preliminary tightness, it has to be 0,6 — 1,4 N · m; adjust a tightness turn of a nut on 30 — 60 °.

— establish into place a lock plate, tighten a lock-nut;

— install the case of the steering mechanism.
